This 3 days Fly-In Amboseli Safari is ideal for travelers intending on visiting Amboseli National Park while wanting to avoid the 4 to 5 hours road trip from Nairobi. Instead we can offer a flight package Safari with a 45 minutes flight from Wilson airport in Nairobi taking you to Amboseli. The flight is on a light aircraft ranging in seating from 15 to 40 passengers depending on the airline booked and passenger loads. Upon arrival in Amboseli a Driver-Guide and vehicle are waiting to receive you for start of Safari. Passenger baggage is limited to 15 kilos per passenger. These fly - in Safaris in Kenya are usually conducted as group tours meaning your Safari vehicle will not be on private basis unless we specially request for an exclusive vehicle at extra cost. Fly back to Nairobi after spending 2 nights / 3 days in Amboseli.
A typical Safari Itinerary is listed below. Note that prices vary depending on the month or season of travel, with July to October being peak season while April to mid June is low season.
2 nights Amboseli
We will collect you from your hotel in Nairobi or the Jomo Kenyatta International airport and transfer you to the domestic , Wilson airport for your 07:30am flight *. You will be brought to the airport 1 hour prior to the flight. Board your flight to Amboseli National Park,southeast of Nairobi Kenya flying time approx 45 minutes:
Upon arrival you will be received and transferred from the airstrip to your overnight Lodge by the Lodge’s Driver guide in a 4x4 safari vehicle.
The Camp is one of the long established lodges here, with excellent views of the park.
Check into your luxury room and some leisure time before a delicious lunch in the lodge’s dining area. In case you’d like a brief siesta, now is the time, just after lunch. Proceed for a Safari Gamedrive late afternoon [typically 3.30pm] during which you explore the surrounding parts of Amboseli National Park and see its amazing wildlife. (The safari vehicle may carry other guests from the lodge).
Return to the lodge by evening [ typically 6 to 6.30pm] in time for dinner.
Overnight stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Ol Tukai Lodge in case of unavailability.
Today you have an early rise for your estimated 6.15am Safari game drive during which you will see more of the Amboseli’s wildlife. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active.
Return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool and also offers a variety of add-on activities, such as nature walks { some optional activities are a extra cost }.
After the sumptuous lunch, take a late afternoon safari game drive before returning to the Lodge by evening [ typically 6pm] in time for a relaxed evening which may be enlivened by entertainment provided by the lodge, followed by dinner.

Enjoy an early breakfast and check out. You bid farewell to Amboseli – as you will be transferred to the nearby airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi [ flying time approx 45 minutes].
Upon arrival in Nairobi, we’ll have our Driver-guide waiting for you at the Wilson Airport for onward transfer to your hotel or to the International airport.
